My name is Alecia Marquardt, and my greatest joy in this world is the unique humanity each of us carries. As a Colorado native, I was taught that the beauty of life is all around us.  I believe that compassion, kindness, and connection are the most important things that can be fostered throughout our lives.  I believe that the arts create a perfect pathway for these elements to form.  Through the arts, every person is able to feel connected to someone, or something else.  Whether it be a character dancing on stage or a song that touches us in the most intimate of places of our hearts, we can each find a piece of ourselves.  Due to this, I have dedicated myself to the stories that the arts use me to tell.   I always struggle when people ask me when I first was interested in music and theatre, and the truth is, I always have been.  There has always been a song in my heart, and I cannot wait to see where the music and stories take me throughout my life, and I invite you along for the journey.
